If you are unable to enter the Total dose value when adding/editing medication on the flowsheet, please make sure that units of measurement for Concentration and Dosage match:
In this example, the medication units are in micrograms, but the dosage units are in milligrams. You can see that the total dose boxes are greyed out, as the calculator will not work if the units don't match.
NOTE: If you will try to add an item with inconsistent units to the flowsheet by clicking Done button, you will get a warning pop-up:
SmartFlow can not convert units for you automatically, thus, please correct units and the Total dose will become available:
NOTE: If you need to add a new unit of measurement, just type it into the field and then tap on it to add. This is a free-type field, and your entry will be saved for future use. Also, if you noticed any unnecessary units e.g.eye, m2, etc, you can delete them by swiping them left on the iPad, and pressing Delete:
