How to make IP address static (Microsoft Windows)? Print

In order to fix the IP address on your Windows PC, you should always login to the Desktop as Administrator.

Then press Windows button on the keyboard:

And type CMD > press Enter > type ipconfig > find the IP address, Subnet and Default Gateway values.
Press again Windows button on the keyboard, choose Settings> Network and internet > Network adapter options> choose used network interface > right-button click on it and select Properties > choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > press Properties.

In the window shown below, please select Use the following IP address, enter IP address, Subnet mask and Default gateway values:

Then press OK.
