In Cornerstone patients can have any of the following statuses: 'Active', 'Deceased', 'Inactive', and the PDF-reports from Smart Flow can be attached whenever the patient in Cornerstone is 'Active' or not. But there are still several matters that could make an impact on the PDF report transferring back to EMR.

Therefore the PDF reports might fail to upload to Cornerstone for these primary reasons:

    1. Patient synchronization Smart Flow / Cornerstone was not successful.

    2. Size of the pdf file is more than 50mb.

    3. Internet connection issues occur.

    4. The DAT Staff ID is inactive in Cornerstone before sending the documents (more about setting DAT Staff ID active you can find HERE).
