From now on, you can set a default setting for all medication units, so you don't have to manually change it to Total (mg) or Total (ml) each time you add a new medication.
In order to make desired changes, you need to open manager's Smart Flow web account > go to Settings > General > Medication Units. There you can toggle the switch to your preferred choice:
You can also customize the display of medication units for any medication in your Smart Flow account separately. This can be done both from the Web and iPad.
From the Web
Log into your clinic's Smart Flow account, go to any patient's flowsheet and click on the name of a needed medication. Then, you will see a pop-up window with the Show on flowsheet switch. Toggle it to your preferred choice and hit Done:
From the iPad
Open patient's flowsheet and access the Editing mode, by taping on the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the screen:
Then tap on a needed medication > switch the Display toggle to your preferred choice and Done:
NOTE: Don't forget to exit the Editing mode and save the changes you made by tapping on a floppy disk icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
