A few tips to know before integrating Bee Free and Smart Flow Sheet:

It is important to know that once you merge the medications, any medications that were saved previously on your Smart Flow templates will disappear. We highly recommend that you print all of your commonly used templates before integration so you can copy the medications to your new templates. All other parameters that are not related to inventory will be saved.

To start integration, begin by logging into your Smart Flow Sheet account on the web-based version.

Next, go to the blue tab in the upper right-hand corner and choose 'account.'

Once you are routed to the account page, your API key will be listed at the bottom of the screen as pictured below. Highlight and copy the API key.

Remember: Before preceding, print any templates that you have already saved on Smart Flow Sheet because all inventory will be deleted

After copying the API integration key, return to your Bee Free software and go into your administration settings. Next, choose branch settings on the left-hand side of your screen. Here you will scroll to the bottom and paste the integration key in the box labeled 'whiteboard EMR key.'

Choose 'Save Settings' on the bottom right-hand corner.

Next, go into your Bee Free products to add any products that you want in the Smart Flow Sheet. We recommend naming your products with the concentration in front of the name as the end of the medication might get cut off on the Smart Flow Sheet.

Once you have your list ready, go back into your 'administration' setting and scroll to the bottom of the screen. The last option on the left is labeled 'whiteboard.' Click on 'whiteboard' and a button labeled 'Synchronise current Branch' will appear. Choose this button to sync your Bee Free products and Smart Flow Sheet.

Now, when you create a new patient in Bee Free they will be populated into Smart Flow Sheet after a procedure has been created for them.

Note: make sure that in the EMR settings for Smart Flow Sheet the bottom two buttons are turned 'on' as pictured below:
