As you may have heard, we have been working on revamping the way in which users access SmartFlow on the iPad. Soon, you will have the option to enable user security controls on the iPad.

This new functionality will bring a host of benefits including:

  • Roles and permissions on the iPad
  • Traceability of user actions
  • Added security

In preparation for this exciting release, the @ipad@ addendum account that you may be using to login to your SmartFlow application on the iPad will be retired. To avoid interruption to your workflow, please uninstall and reinstall the SmartFlow application. Once the application has been reinstalled you will be prompted to login, please use the same email and password you use to access the web browser version of SmartFlow.

Should you choose to not uninstall and reinstall SmartFlow, following the next version release (scheduled for May 19, 2020), you will be required to login to the iPad application using the same email and password used to access the web browser version of SmartFlow.

We want to assure you that when logging into the SmartFlow application with any user associated with your account, our system will still respect the 10 minute idle timer and dynamically share logins across your account.

We look forward to sharing more information very soon about the new user security on the iPad.
