There is no specific section for the Epidurals or Local Blocks, however, they can be easily added to the Anesthetic Sheet when necessary. For this, please follow the steps below:
1. Open the Preoperative page and enter Epidural to the Local/Regional section:
2. Then put medications to the Additional Med, indicating the Epidural as a Route. Please check the medication Dosage and Billing option before clicking DONE:
NOTE: It is also important to know that the Preoperative page only allows input up to three additional drugs. In case you need more items to be added, please add them directly from the Anesthetic sheet. For this enter the Editing mode:
Add as many items as you need by tapping on the + button under the corresponding section (e.g. Medication):
Save the changes by tapping on the floppy disk icon in the top right corner of your screen.
3. Once ready, click on the SAVE button:
Each epidural medication can be executed as usual and will appear in the reports after the anesthetic sheet finalization:
- Anesthetic Record:
- Billing Record:
